Employee of the Month – February 2010
Wednesday, 3rd March 2010

The ‘Employee of the Month’ for February 2010 has been awarded to Paul Bacon and he has been chosen based on:

“Positive written feedback from the Site Manager at Doorstop International regarding an incident whereby Paul approached and questioned somebody who he thought to be ‘an employee’ about the contents of a large box he was putting in his car”.
The employee in an actual fact was a Company Director who was suitably impressed to have been questioned and checked!
I have extended my personal ‘thanks’ to Paul and congratulated him for his professional conduct on this occasion that resulted in him being chosen for this award. I would like to mention that he has also been thanked for his 100% attendance at all times.

Our sincerest Congratulations Paul.
From the Operations Team

New Incentive from ems (East Midlands Security) Management
We have decided to introduce a new company incentive/reward for you all to strive for by way of an ‘Employee of the Month’ Award. This reward will be awarded on a monthly basis, as the name implies and nominees will be chosen based on any manner of positive or indeed outstanding qualities or actions that you as an individual have brought to the company.
Nominees will be put forward by the duty manager’s, operations manager, operations director, customers or indeed by one of your colleagues.
If you wish to nominate a colleague then you must submit in writing a brief description/reason why you wish for that individual to be considered. All requests must be sent/submitted to the operations manager.
Should a client make special reference to any particular quality or action of a security officer on their site then this individual will obviously be put to the top of the list for that particular month.
The nominations will be discussed during our monthly management review meeting, and during this meeting one individual will be chosen for his/her outstanding achievements for the previous month. We will then informed the winner in writing and he /she will be rewarded with a gift voucher with our thanks. All company employees will be informed who the months, ‘Award Winner’ is and why that individual was chosen.

Employee of the Month – January 2010

We would like to say “Well Done” to Muhammed for his professional conduct that resulted in him being chosen for this award and also for being the first ever winner of this award!

Friday, 15th January 2010

Clough/Taylor FundraisingThe fundraising campaign to raise funds towards the Clough/Taylor Monument at Pride Park is well underway.

Last month Derby County announced that the greatest managerial partnership in football history is being reunited with news that a special monument is being commissioned and will be located on Pride Park next summer.

Local company East Midlands Security, who provide Derby County's security services at Pride Park Stadium and Moor Farm, have decided to support the project by donating £15,000.

Pictured are Marc McNeil and Jas Bains from East Midlands Security handing over the cheque to Derby County's Vice President of Operations, John Vicars at last Saturday's home game with Reading.

John said: "This is an extremely kind gesture and reflects East Midlands Security's ongoing commitment to support community initiatives."
