EMS holds certification to ISO 9001 and is also approved under the Security Industry Authority Approved Contractor Scheme. This means that we operate in accordance with industry best practice and undergo regular 3rd party verification audits to ensure we continue to meet the high standards demanded.


Our History

EMS was formed in 1998 to provide a professional and reliable manned guarding service to the Midlands region and going from strength to strength EMS has now grown into a nationwide company, providing our services to a high number of companies both locally and nationwide.


Our client portfolio is drawn from both the public and private sectors and our expertise stems from supplying our services to numerous clients such as Derby City and Derbyshire County Councils, NHS, ABB Limited, Derby County Football Club, Available Car and many more.


EMS Security Services is a Small Medium Enterprise and due to maintaining our core values of ensuring that we supply a quality service tailored to meet the individual needs of our clients, first time, every time our contract retention is such that 50% of our contracts have been running now from 6 to 12 years, 40% have been running within the last 5 years and only 10% of our business is attributed to ad hock, temporary or short term work.
